Vapers Rush to Stock Up Before Disposable Ban – Puff and Stuff
With the upcoming ban on disposable vapes taking effect from 1 June, many vapers are panic-buying while they still can. Some say they’ve been purchasing boxes of them at discounted rates—getting up to ten vapes for as little as £10 or £20, as stores work to clear out stock.
Once the ban is in place, only reusable vapes will be allowed, meaning devices must have a rechargeable battery, a replaceable coil, and be refillable. While most vapers already prefer rechargeable models, about 30% still rely on disposables.
A key concern for many is the shift in taste. Disposable vapes often contain more sweeteners and nicotine salts, making them noticeably sweeter than refillable options. As the deadline approaches, vapers are bracing for the transition.
